Artist description
Subculture is a band that existed in Baton Rouge from 1995 until 1998. An interesting mixture of rock and hip hop (especially for Baton Rouge), Subculture made its mark in the club scene and was all but forgotten until someone made mention of them in a "where are they now" message board thread on redstickrock.com in September of 2002. Since then, some recordings on cassette were found and uploaded to digital format bringing life back to The Culture in a collectiion tentatively entitiled, The Crying Fields.
