Artist description Five minute ride is the outcome of 2 years of hard work and brotherhood. Formed in 2001, getting a record deal and touring with National bands was the first goal thrown on the table From Day one. Getting things started was easy for the band"small towns are usually pretty forgiving when looking for musicians to begin your dream with," says drummer Matt Alvarado. It was always the bands goal to get things done quickly. Although in reality, they have beaten many bands by almost a decade, they were eager to settle into a routine that most bands never reach. With a strong 2 song demo that prompted a quick signing with 720 records, they most certainly have shown their work ethics and views about wasting time in the music business. From day one, a strict Practice schedule was inked in blood. Shows became a regular event, at local centers and gatherings. " I remember the first REAL show we played we packed like 300 people into this small piece of garbage pizza place, it was a trip, looking back now we probably sounded awful but it felt like we were Journey." Says drummer, Matt Alvarado. Since the beginning of 2003, they have played with bands such as the blood brothers, the Start, Shortie, Still Life Projector, Vendetta Red, Saosin, The Bled, Loudermilk, 7th Standard, Die Trying, Athena in Hades, and Red Top Road.
