Artist description Yikaria, or Yak men, are natives of Pillar Mountains (Italy), comfortable among the foreboding heights and deep, hidden valleys of this range. The Yak men have an impressive height and their heads are like those of disgruntled yaks, complete with curved horns and uniformly dour, sullen expression. Male or female, their hulking bodies are coated with thick fur and hair. Yikaria have a number of magical powers that make them a dangerous opponents. To enslave animal or people, these strange creatures use their voices and their bodies to produce an enigmatic and obscure sounds, who delete any conscious thought from the mind of theirs victim. We can’t explain how the Yikaria uses his body and his voice to construct these treacherous but seductive harmonies, but we know that the victims of his music are happily annihilated in a new ecstasy.
