Artist History The original four members of The Jimmy Kids were Shawn Hubbard, Mark Blohm, Jeff Balsamo and Chris Williams (the original drummer). At the time shawn sang, but was too quite for recording, so chris sang on the original recordings. Eventually the sound of the Jimmy Kids became associated with Chris's voice, so Chris moved to vocals, while Gordon Walsh was recruited to play the drums. This worked out for a while, but issues with Gordan and the band began to arise, so Tim haspert was brought to the band to take over the elusive drumming position. Everything was good for a while. Our first major recording was achieved with this line-up, and a CD was released by the name of EP Phone Home. After a while issues between Chris and the rest of the band arose, so chris resigned from lead singer. No panic arose amoung the Jimmy Kids though, because while Chris was missing practices, Shawn had taken over on the vocals, and actually sounded better than Chris. Also during this time, background vocals were added, and songs were slightly re-arranged creating a more solid Jimmy Kids sound.
