Artist description Currently a three-piece band (guitar, bass, drums). Taking music from different angles than most bands do, hence the name 'Parallax'.

Musical Influences Tool, Deftones, Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam, Rush, Dave Matthews Band, Cinematic Orchestra, Common, Talib Kwali, Mos Def, many different types of music.

Artist History Scott, Mandy, and Brian have all been playing their respective instruments for many years. Since Scott and Brian are both seniors in Highschool and Mandy is a Freshmen at Towson Univeristy, they have had time to build up their skills. All three were in a band called Drone for a few years of their highscool careers, but now the band is defunct. Scott, Mandy, and Brian have all changed their musical interests from the earlier heavy rock music of Drone, to a more experimental rock of Parallax.
