Artist description Baby Face Finster, the 5’ 3” gangsta, is poppin’ on the scene with some of the most soulful riffs, mixed with a hip-hop flavor you ever heard. Born August 4, 1977 in Brooklyn as Alonzo Woods Elliot, he attended public school and had a pretty normal childhood. It wasn’t until his days at Boys & Girls High School that he began to hang with the wrong crowd and learned the meaning of ‘Fast Money’. It was in the eleventh grade when the lure of the streets pulled Baby Finster out of school and on the block. “It wasn’t long before an extended stay in the New York State Penal System got me to thinkin’ about the direction of my life” Finster recalls. “My life needed a change. But when I got hooked up with the home boys from around the way, the same old crowd got in more and more trouble.” In steps big brother Suga Bang Bang, an accomplished singer himself, and his partner in crime Badu. “They started me doing hooks on their tracks. I didn’t think people would like my style, until I started getting calls at the studio from people talking ‘bout how they wanted me on something with them. Everyone was feelin’ what I was doin’ and that’s when I knew music was my life.” Since those early inspiring days, Baby Finster has attended many talent shows, open mics and opened for major artists in concert. Now here he is, rolling with Badu Management, doing what he knows he does best!
