Artist description
File us under "low-tech, but good." A Lezly organ, an electric piano, bass, guitar, and drums. That's it. No fancy overdubs, just good, straight music with tunes and harmonies. Maybe we're singing the blues--maybe we're yammering about cars. Check us out, you'll enjoy it. Or don't check us out. See if we care. I pour my heart out in these songs, and what do I get? Vast silence, punctuated only by form emails from people asking me and everyone else to join the latest mp3 start-up! Why do I even bother? Oh, woe is me! |

Artist History
The Footcandles began in 1992 with the high technology of guitars and tape recorders. After a long hiatus, we returned with a vengeance. Lately, we've been helping to improvise music with DC's newest comedy sensation, Rat Alley Theater Society. Any hints as to how to get people to LISTEN to our SONGS would be greatly appreciated. |

Press Reviews
"[Let the Rain Fall In] is one of my personal favorites of all we had on the show last night. I really like that song! It works well as an acoustic tune, but it would be killer with a full band too. Great vocals too."--Dave of the Kords (Strangers), host of the Premiere Artists Show on ArtistLaunch.com; "Who are you? Get out of my office!"--Richard Harrington, Washington Post. |
