Artist History originally formed under the name yahwey speedway in 1995, salao has spent the last 4 years compiling, refining and collecting; equiptment, sounds and songs in an effort to accurately express their collective ideas. principal song-writer jon goff, who has been playing, performing and writing music since the age of 6 had dissolved his last band in 1994. having known the fledgling singer/lyricist, brad yaeger, who was paying his dues on the 4-track circuit for several years already, jon decided to give brad a few instrumental tracks to see what he would do with them. the result wasn't magic, but it was enough to build on. after scrounging up a rhythym section, the genesis of the ideas were born. when their first demo recording failed to capture what they were going for, they decided to follow the pure DIY route and literally build their own studio from the ground up (painful $ after $..no trust funds here). since constucting the studio/record company 'self adhesive records', jon and brad have been buried inside writing, recording, programming, mixing, and mastering every note themselves. now, with the recordings where they should be, they are currently auditioning a backing band, to make the transistion from studio to stage without losing the effect of the music.
