Quistaday is a power/pop/rock band out of the Pacific NW. Quist originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and Aday originally from Eugene, OR. They duo met in Seattle, WA where they currently are based out of. Quistaday creates a unique, guitar driven style with elements of retro rock and strong female vocals ala Benatar & Teri Nunn of the band Berlin....Since the '99 debut CD (These are the Days) Quistaday has been on 3 US tours, opened for (hero) Pat Benatar four times, placed a song off the debut CD on Disney Channel's hit TV show "In A Heartbeat", attended, volunteered and played in several music conferences and ended the year 2000 by playing a one nighter in Bangkok, Thailand for New Years Eve. What's next for Quistaday? They are back in the studio polishing up the follow up CD to These are the Days and are playing a number of select shows and charity events in Seattle. Artist History
Chad Quist and Liz Aday are veterans of the North West music scene. Joining forces during their former effort Paradigm Shift, these two have crafted a batch of clever & exciting crossover pop rock. On the new CD (These Are The Days), Quistaday was assisted instrumentally by talents such as Paul DeLisle (Smash Mouth), Steve Smith (Journey), Mick Mahan (Pat Benatar) and Michael Urbano (Sheryl Crow) to name a few. |
