Artist description
New Sun has been playing as a sonic unit for eight years. Self described as a progressive rock soundscape, ever searching for ways to express ideas in a new musical idiom. By utilizing the foundations laid by classic prog-rock bands of the '70's (Rush, King Crimson), and listening to bands of the '90's(Tool, Porcupine Tree), the intention is to push boundries musically and appeal to wider audiences - to move forward - progression! |

Press Reviews
-----NEW SUN« Affects »This is their second album already ! A richer mixture with violins this time. The Rush influences are still here for our pleasure. A more mature, more professional chapter. There lacks some great melodies perhaps but this is a great job, lads ! Carry on, the success shouldn’t be very far ! (RR)Acid Dragon Magazine (France) Thierry Sportouche |
