Artist History
Moving to Boston four years ago from their native homeland of Switzerland, Adrian Hierholzer and Kurt Uenala were looking for a better environment to cultivate their music. "We met in Switzerland, but really didn't know each other until we both ended up in Boston. We started writing together a few years ago," explains Adrian. Kurt states, "It took us a while, but we found the right formula. We write produce, engineer, and play almost all of the instuments on our recorings. It allows us to have as much time and freedom as we need." Adrian replies, "We use modern technology in our writing process. I might come with an idea and give a rough draft recording on disc to Kurt. In a few days, he'll have sixty tracks laid down. We rarely record in the same room or at the same time. We've even written over the phone before. It's quite bizarre." |

Press Reviews
"The result, alchemized after a year or so of experimentation in their basement home studio, is an ingenious combination of catchy melodies and eclectronic textures." - Billboard Magazine
"...looks to be next in line for a major label deal." - Boston Globe
"...blend of old school rock with an original electronica-lounge core sound...crazed on-stage performances-a flagrantly tacky, high energy gig sure to give most shows a run for their money." - Improper Bostonian
"Cocktail-pop heartbreakers." - Stuff At Night
"Think back to the days when videos first came out and you got your first look at The Thompson Twins or Culture Club. Think back to the days when you liked just about every song on the radio and knew all the names of the bands that played them. Now, imagine if a band could take all those simple pleasures and that sound-and boost the wattage just a few notches." - North East Performer |
