Cousins from upstate New York, Seth "Hannibal" Bradford and Eddie James come to the forefront with the feel of classic pioneers of the rap industry, yet with a unique sound that's all their own and thoroughly melded with today's hottest beats. Mind Theory have evolved with the Hip Hop game from infancy to it's current state. These brothers are "pioneers of a new era and protectors of a decade past". Their story is not unlike that of the Hip Hop community in the 5 boroughs, except its from upstate. Its positive, negative, original, deep and the utmost creative! Brothers with a lot on their minds and a theory to share. Influenced by such musical genres as Jazz, Classical Latin and old school R&B, Eddie James has developed an innovative sound that is as electric and original as it is smooth and soulful. Creating a distintive style in a crowded arena. In addition to Mind Theory's solid D.J. skills, cutting edge lyrical flow and sound production, they are also seasoned stage performers. They have developed skills over the years by performing at venues such as How Can I Be Down, Madd Wednesdays at Maria Davis, Gavin Seminar and various college campuses. Mind Theory definitely know how to motivate the crowd. When Hannibal and Eddie James come together, the result is spontaneous and explosive. The multiple talents of both mesh harmoniously complementing each other to the fullest.Always one to go against the grain, front man and lyrical force Hannibal is responsible for establishing the lyrical style that is simple and complex, comical yet serious, confrontational but elusive. Hannibal has been writing lyrics for as long as he can recall and continues to perfect his craft. He puts it like this "I like to turn headz and keep em' movin". With his lyrical dexterity, distinctive voice and "in your face" honesty he does just that. Eddie James maps the musical background for Hannibal's vocal performance. Eddie started out as a D.J. in Syracuse while in college playing football for Syracuse University. He eventually moved on to production finding his niche. He began producing tracks for upstate artist as well as the group; becoming very sought after in the upstate area. His innate ability to create strong hypnotic melodies and chords with bass driven beats that rival the talents of some of the best out there today, and will make him highly sought after in the industry.
