Artist History
Hailing from England, I spent a number of years as a guitarist for several different artists touring the world and recording albums. I felt like stepping out on my own.
In April of 1999 I got together with producer Marty Willson Piper (of Australian band The Church) and with the help of Swedish musicians, Jerker Odelholm (bass), Christer Bjorklund (drums), and Andreas Ahlenius (wierd sounds and engineering) we recorded "Limb" in Gavle, Sweden.
Look for us on various dates of the MP3 college tour. |

Press Reviews
Justin Clayton hails from Liverpool. His debut album "Limb" is full of pensive songs. His music has an almost otherworldly quality. Perhaps because it was recorded in Sweden, it gives one the impression of being very personal yet detached. Slightly similar of slower T-Rex songs, Clayton's atmospheric music is most decidedly English evocative of gray rainy days. Guitar-Pop melodies to be profoundly depressed by, so move over Morrissey... -FMQB |
