Artist History
Grizzle Skip was formed in 1994 by singer/songwriter J. Noble, along with bassist Chris Ascough. David Spearman joined the band as drummer, and Jason Ramsey became lead guitarist, following a couple of live performances at which he played with GS. Within months, recording for the self-titled debut CD was underway, recorded at Big Noise Studio in Garland, TX in Dec. 1994 and Mar. 1995. A 10-song, self-titled CD was released in Apr 1995. Following several months of playing shows to support the CD, the band split up for almost 5 years. In Jan 2000, Jack, Dave, and Chris regrouped to work on new material. Jason soon rejoined the band. Grizzle Skip is currently working on a new CD, hoped to be released in Summer 2001. Go to grizzleskip.com to get a free copy of our debut CD now! |
