Artist History
Foam Rubber Sole formed in March 1996 when guitarist Jeff Collins answered keyboardist Rob Tucker's ad in the local music rag. Jeff was drawn to Rob's songwriting and instantly began sharing his own material. With a common love for melody, and a mutual affinity for the unusual, Rob and Jeff found a wavelength that would soon translate to prolific songwriting collaborations. Drummer & multi-instrumentalist Joel Valder joined FRS in 2002 after several failed attempts to form an Osmonds tribute band. |
