Press Reviews
From the Summer 1999 edition of ANU Monthly(Canada's only Model and Talent Newspaper). By Ian Alphonso SINGS, WRITES & PLAYS Candace Carnie's CD entitled Madd River features 17 tracks, all but one written by Candace. The album was produced by Jerry Tupis and recorded and mixed at Soundaround in Etobicoke. Not only a solid singer/songwriter, Candace Carnie is a really solid keyboard player as well. She also performs six of the tracks completely solo. I was really touched by "North Hill", "Lullaby" "Theme for Karen" and "Skinner's Bend". I also enjoyed "Say Goodbye", "Rainchild". "Sunlight into Midnight", "Come to the Island" and "Truckin' Love". She's a talented one who writes interesting music. |
