Artist History
Hailing from Toronto, BAD BLOOD joined forces in June 1996. Citing a lack of a fear-inducing presence on the Toronto music scene, they aimed to rectify this situation. Boasting a combined weight of more than 1300 pounds they pride themselves on bludgeoning audiences
with their sonically-violent attack.
BAD BLOOD have now put out their second independently released CD, NOBODY LIKES ME, a five song EP expanding on the heavy sound of their previous release AMPLIFY, and supermono records release 1400+, adding melodic hooks and slower, more technical riffs.
Heavy mellow is how the band describes it. NOBODY LIKES ME was recorded by ALFIO ANNIBALINI (Hayden, Big Sugar, Voivod) at Iguana Sound in Toronto, and it is BAD BLOOD’s most appealing record to audiences across the board yet. It does not however, let up on their
trade mark passion and intensity.
BAD BLOOD have also been startling the local music scene, by creating the RING N’ EARS WRESTLEMUSICFEST. The amalgamation of live heavy music and live pro wrestling in a club setting,
just begins to prove what this hard working band can accomplish. The first RING N’ EARS compilation CD was just put out by the band to help hype their creation, featuring the BLOOD and
other RING N’ EARS alumni such as SCRATCHING POST and TRIGGER HAPPY. A national tour featuring themselves is set for the fall to support the comp, and to bring the mayhem of a RING N’ EARS event to towns across the country.
The band also received an internet award from www.scoopthis.com for best theme song from a wrestling show, for their song The Law.
As they began to intimidate audiences in and around Southern Ontario and the south-eastern U.S., the name BAD BLOOD started to become synonymous
with a true live experience. Even in their infancy their reputation preceded them to the point where they were asked to open for DOG EAT DOG,
ORANGE 9MM, DRAIN STH, STATIC-X and the semi-legendary FISHBONE.
Live, the members of BAD BLOOD look constantly to prove themselves, both to audiences and each other. The vocals are not delivered so much as
they are force fed by the duo of Billy Blood and Dove. Deuce handles the guitar while F solidifies the bottom end. Add to that D-O's solid drumming and you've
discovered the formula to generate BAD BLOOD.
New school, old school, no school — these guys have been kicked out of every school. Rising from the ashes of YET ANOTHER POSSE, their membership
reads like a who's who of hardcore, metal and hip-hop alumni, but BAD BLOOD is no supergroup — they're more like a legion of doom.
If the name BAD BLOOD conjures up ideas of animosity, aggression and revenge, just wait and see what hearing, or seeing,
them does to you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Realising the limitations of riff-heavy rap-metal, the undisputed heavyweight champions of Toronto's hardcore scene expand their musical horizons with this five-song EP. Like Suicidal Tendencies did in the early '90s, Bad Blood experiment with thicker, more intricate guitar structures, rhythms and melodic vocals, while retaining the core intensity they are known for. Nobody Likes Me is a marked progression for a band that keeps improving with each release.
