Artist description
Midnight Coffee Break is a coffeehouse, type acoustic group with indie/emo influences and poor taste in fashion and humor. With lots of percussion, instead of drums, MCB fits right into the coffeehouse scene. check out the website www.midnightcoffeebreak.com or call the TRL hotline and tell them you want MTV to play us! (note: we dont have a record contract or a music video. We dont even know where Times Square is) |

Artist History
Midnight Coffee Break was formed in the winter of 2001/2002 from surviving members of eastern shore christian pop sensation Not Yet. Lacking a real drummer (or any real talent at all), they adopted a coffeehouse style of music and began jamming at open mics and various other venues. Within months, they had a generous following and played several shows a month, many for the Rock for Life organization. Highlights of MCBs musical career include the release of their first full length indie CD, "The Maxwell House Project", articles in several newpapers, and opening at the legendary Soda Cans Only's very last show.
