Artist History
Venus Cures All emerged in 1994 as the continuation of punk-rock heroines Chicken Milk -- only with a male drummer and more added rock power. They released the "Pounds" double seven-inch in '95 (featuring a prescient cover of Mission of Burma's "That's How I Escaped My Certain Fate"), followed by the Paradise By The Highway CD in '96, and toured the continent twice, including the Ear of the Dragon Tour alongside the likes of Seam, Versus, cub, The Dambuilders, J. Church and aMiniature. After breaking up somewhat unexpectedly in early '97, Venus have unexpectedly reunited for one show (maybe more) in 2002.. |
