Artist description
Natalie Wilde Bio:
Deposited by aliens in Akron, Ohio, Natalie has always been devoted to the arts. She spent her grade school years involved in choir, dance, theater, flute, and piano. In junior high school she was first flute and band manager, and was quickly drawn to the stage in high school. She performed in musicals, received acting, dance, and private voice instruction, and eventually transferred to a performing arts high school.
With the end of high school approaching, Natalie began a mostly pointless modeling stint. However, this brought her to a competition where she sang alone to an audience for the first time and took home the 1st prize for talent and commercial performance. Wary about being shipped to Taipei to model and determined to be more constructive, at 18 she packed up the 89 Corsica and headed for California to go to film school at the University of California, Santa Barbara. While in college she logged over 200 hours singing in a rock & roll cover band. She can now play a mean tambourine. In 2001, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies with tons of academic honors and awards. But ultimately, music is Natalies true passion.
She now resides in Los Angeles where she is pursuing her music career as a singer/songwriter. Natalies chameleon vocal qualities allow her to tap into a vast arsenal of artists, styles, tones, and textures. She draws from these influences an ability to match diverse music, making her an adept session vocalist. She has a natural sense of melody and harmony, and plenty to say. Now 24, Natalie is working on some kickass new music with her collaborator and hopes to make a fortune inventing the waterproof shower 4-track recorder.
