Artist History
In 1995, Robert Bowman composed and arranged the music and co-authored the lyrics and preformed in the Detroit Goth/Electro band Randolph's grin. He created and ran the recording label Ilacon Records to release their debut album, Melt. Which was distributed by Cargo records and Metropolis Records in 1997.
Robert also supported another Detroit Electro/ Industrial band, Heavy Water Factory in 1997, by playing keyboards for their live tour, which included opening for the Sisters of Mercy at the Dark Harvest festival in Philadelphia.
In 2000 Robert went on to form Odyssey Moth which is a conceptual project which follows a semi-biographical story. Starting with "Tears for the Taking Pool". Musically this project is more accessible to the mainstream, defying categorization.
Tireless Robert is now engaged in his solo career under the alias "Mercury Sparrow". The first release is a self titled EP- featuring four songs form the forthcoming full-length CD "Pop-Sickle".
