Artist description I would call myself a surreal folk musician. I use the acoustic guitars and simplistic beats of folk traditions to glue together rambling and random pieces of musical chaos. Some of it is just standard folk, country, and blues chord progressions, and some of it is just plain nonsense.

Artist History I've been playing the guitar and writing songs for about 15 years as a hobby. About 10 years ago a friend gave me his old 4-track recorder (he had just bought a new ADAT 16-track vhs recorder), and I started to record my songs. I've been recording ever since. The four-track is now half dead, and I'm moving on to jerry-rigged recordings using various cheap sound programs on the computer. It sure is fun though, and I think I'll always write and record music, if for nothing else than homemade tapes and cd's to give to my friends and listen to in my car sometimes.

Group Members All of these songs are solo creations. My wife sang backup on one of them, but the rest of the voice and instrumentation are all me.
