Artist History
De'Sha's start as a gospel crooner in several Chicagoland choirs is revealed through many powerful performances on the project as well as in his musical arrangements. In his writing and lyrics, he reveals his passion for life and love. When asked, he talks of love as the center of his life. His love for his family, friends and his son.
"I think people are afraid nowadays to just say 'I love you' . Hey, I'll admit, I'm not the best at it sometimes myself but, I try to express it in my songs. My hope for this project and for the next five projects is that when people listen to my songs, that the songs will jar them into realizing that it's OK to be in love and just say it. Now I know this may sound crazy, but stranger things have happened.."
De'Sha currently works with and runs Signature Gold Entertainment, Inc., a small 'indie' entertainment company focused on artist development and music production.
"I formed SGE, Inc. back in 1996 working with and managing several gospel groups. Since then, we've worked with almost every genre of music, mostly managing and developing artists, but only recently decided to focus on and release my project."
