Artist description
Schooled in classical piano, Oscar Wendel learned his scales and Beethoven sonatas at the Jakobsberg school of Performing Arts before he got restless. He realized that you had to be in a band, preferably the singer, to get laid - so in a desperate quest for attention his band took off. |

Artist History
A Short Background Straight ou
… entering their teenage years, WildOscar and his gang had already established the infamous and profitable crime syndicate known as WildOscar N D Kraazy F’S. ZEE, -growing up togatha in the projects, the only respectable career available for these young men livin’ in J-Berg was to become a pimp or/and a drug dealer. This was the path that the boys were traveling on when Rev. Jehobah and Josemite Brown of the “HELP the HOMIES Foundation”, persuaded them to become the back-up band of their Gospel choir JC in J-Berg. “…they basically took us off the streets a few hours every week, -a well needed break for a hardworking gangsta and a chance to meet hoes in a more relaxed environment”, says WildOscar.
The homies honed their musical talents while jamming with the choir until the day came when they wanted to rebel... The boys set out to experiment with what they came to call Gangsta Gospel by incorporating the HEAVIER attitude of Rap and Hip-Hop, yet sticking with the same Soul/Gospel groove that Jebba had taught them. “MAN, that negro really supported us! He even made our GANG name our BAND name”, says Kalle.
“… ’kause ZEE, all along I knew that the “F” in WildOscar N D Kraazy F’S really stood for ‘FUNKAZ’ and not ‘FUCKAZ’, –I just had to teach them BAD-AZZ-NIGGA-HOMIES! And now, instead of Drive-by shootings, they can ventilate their suppressed Hood Aggressions through their new style of music”, says Reverend Brown

excerpt:
On the Road to Stardom
We first heard of Oscar with the song Gold Coast Girl when he won 1st Place for best Pop Song of the Year 2001 on the SDI OSMC Contest. Well he is back this year with his first Album ‘...mostly known as Demi-God’ where we can hear these 2 two terrific tunes Ditch the Bitch a solid rock tune with an hypnotic groove and American Negro an amalgamation of Rap, Rock and Pop that keeps you in the listening mode until the end… Oscar is young, good looking, got strong vocals, good rhythm, his material is very original and possesses this attitude and talent that are the secret ingredients of a future Rock Star.
