Artist History Someday in May 1998, when I was 17 year old, I met Sjamsoel at my friend's home in Surabaya. Sjamsoel is a guitarist of one black metal band in Surabaya. Sjamsoel has got many problems with his friends of band and he decided to resign from his band. On that moment I told him that I want to build a band within new characteristic but I could not to mention what music genre is. I love to listening to many death metal, trash metal and heavy metal band. I offer to him that my contribution is Vocal, he is agree too. As we are only two pieces person - Vocal & Guitar - of band, we have to seek another musician. Sjamsoel promised to bring his school-friend to become drummer and I also promise to bring a bassist. Drummer is Ekko and bassist is Richard, we are all still students of diverse High School in Surabaya. That's all the first idea for developing the band. HARRU Total Tragedy

Press Reviews TOTAL TRAGEDY (Indonesia) Every Story Has A Glory De Facto Productions, 2001 It is almost a year I haven’t listened to this band. The last time was their 2 tracks promotape. This album is released under their own label, De Facto Productions. A 8 tracks CD with full color cover. I labeled them as gothic doom metal last time but in this CD but gothic metal are more suitable this time because there are some fast songs here. The 2 songs in the promo tape are re-recorded for this album. Their music is melodic, calm and soothing like most gothic bands and the strength also lies in the clear angelic female vocal. There are also keyboard in the song and growling male vocals which are also dominant in almost all songs as well as piano in some songs. “Sinar Batas Sepi” is still my fave track. A good album by this band but the sound should be better. Music like these need more clean sound especially on the guitar. It is okay for a black metal music but not gothic. I see more and more Indonesian band release their stuff in CD and this is good news but it should come with a good sound. Tape version of this album is also available released by other Indonesian label. I have received your cd and I must tell you that everything sounds great!It is melodic & atmospheric gothic metal it is exactly the way gothic metal should sound! The most important thing: the diversity of songs. There is no monotony - do you agree? It seems that many today's bands have problems with monotony.
