    Artist description
Classic melodic rock artists who blend a variety of Rock, Pop, R&B, Reggae, Rock-a-Billy, Jazz, and Classical idioms into an edgy beat driven melodic rock. Their independently released “G-Continuing Adventures of the Granati Brothers” CD is “a good replacement therapy for the poor excuse that is popular music today”, according to George Thatcher of Heart of the Rock. Brian Foraker, who has worked with Moby, Heart, Yes, and others mastered the CD in Nashville. A string quartet comprised of principal players from the Pittsburgh Symphony provides rich backgrounds reminiscent of Abbey Road. The Granati Brothers appeared at 78 sold out concerts with Van Halen in the 80’s. David Granati’s soaring melodic riffs earned him a nomination for player of the year by Guitar Player Magazine in 1981. Their earlier recordings on A&M Records include G-Force (1979) and Propaganda (1979). They have also performed or recorded with Bruce Springsteen, J. Geils, Ian Hunter, the Doobie Brothers, Joe Grusheky, the Jaggerz, the Clarks, BE Taylor, Heart, Peter Frampton and others.

    Press Reviews
Brian Foraker, Brian Foraker Studio, Nashville " A superbly crafted masterpiece of rock" Foraker has recorded such groups as Heart, Moby, Yes Gary Katz, Producer, Steely Dan and other music legends “G- These guys simply made great music”!” George Thatcher –Heart of the Rock, New Zealand -there is definitely something for everyone, and not only is it good value, it's a good replacement therapy for the poor excuse that is popular music today. Phillip Harris – Pittsburgh Magazine “G is melodic rock with nods to Journey, Queen, Jellyfish, early Van Halen and the Beatles (they do a cover of keyboardist Hermie's show-stopping "Oh Darlin'" with a rockin' solo that Paul cold only dream about). The harmonies are fantastic, and the playing professional and never self-indulgent. David Granati's guitar-playing brings new life to the cliched world of rock guitar, at times ripping, at times riffing, at times even sounding like bagpipes. Content to be who they are, and comfortable with where they've come from, they've never sounded better” Sean McDowell, WDVE Radio G..the continuing adventures of the granati brothers is fun and so impressive to listen to..and the musicianship is flawless, crisp and right there...the Granati bros. are in fine form on this CD, real polished pros Scott Tady, Beaver County Times Newspaper "Soaring vocals, slick guitar work, songs with substance -- the Granati Brothers have returned with style and flair. The group's comeback CD is loaded with accessible songs... commercial radio should pay attention Pete Tanna, freelance writer and photographer for SYGMA, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair All the fashionable newcomers to the land of scream and shout should be forced fed this new release from the Granati Brothers. It's a rock 'n music perr-fection.
