Artist History Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca., Dec.14,1960. Gerald began piano instruction at 9 and guitar at age 12. He developed his singing, guitar skills and songwriting while performing at area schools, churches and clubs. He continued with music throughout his college years –performing at coffee houses, concerts and casual events. Stepping up a higher level of musicianship, Gerald attended the famous, Dick Grove School of Music in Studio City, CA, which gave him a strong foundation in arranging and composing. He lays claim to numerous gospel, jazz, r&b and pop groups, which has brought him a wealth of experience. Oftentimes, Gerald served as the frontman; singing and playing. As natural leader, Gerald served as music director on several stints with these groups.
