Artist History Avea has been playing together as Avea since March 2002. Joe Sproston and Eric Awalt had been playing together for fun for years before. Kiel Frieden joined the jam sessions origionally on rhythym guitar, but found his niche with the bass. Avea has been playing local shows since October 2002.
