Artist History The band that has come to be known as Timesprout, formed in the summer of 2001. Consisting of five members, their origins come from all over the UK, but they are currently based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Often mistakenly referred to as a stoner, band (on which Timesprout would not deny the influence), Their live act crosses many musical fields, slamming it tits first into a hard rock environment. A heavy set of ear shattering drums, belly rumbling guitars and a rectum loosening bass, make Timesprout as loud as they are professional, and with the melodic half-tones of vocalist Mash, makes for a band which is truly unique in the business. After a string of successful dates in their local area, as well as great receptions at other small venues across England, Timesprout have produced their first release, The Time That Sprout Forgot. This three track demo has opened the band to a wider following, which are now starting to turn out to venues wherever the sprouts appear to perform!
