Artist History
selim sonos has been working for 12 years as a guitarist (classical guitar/acoustic guitar/electronic guitar), first in Heidelberg/Mannheim, then in Berlin. He played in the following bands and projects:
CLAZZ (oriental jazz fusion/musical versions of poems with Handan Akkaya – vocals, Selahattin Cetin – guitar,vocals and Jan Milan Honkys – guitar, arrangement)
AFOODMPORT (NUJazzRock with Chris Hartschuh – bass, Johann "Leif" von Schubert – Drums, Milian Vogel – saxophone)
Toast ( Jazz with Chris Hartschuh – bass, Daniel Kluge – keyboards)
TWICELAND (Oriental-Byzantine Electrosoul with Vassili Vegas – vocals, program-ming)
PRYMER AND SELIM SONOS (Deep Soul)
selim sonos’ first album is called: "The Masters of Fine Keys".
It was recorded by Jan Milan Honkys at the
Trainstation studio in Walldorf. With the help of
other friends and fellow musicians the album was
completed in the beginning of 1999. |
