Artist History
This is all "old stuff" recorded in 1994 and 1995. The band formed in 1994 and broke up in 1995. This was the last of at least nine bands that were started up by Shane Clayton since the late 1970's. The selections uploaded here are intended as some kind of testimonial to the band Purple Tang and as a repertoire source for anyone interested in the songs for their own musical pursuits.
Included in this songlist are three songs by the band Buttonhead which existed briefly just prior to Purple Tang in 1993 with a different guitarist and drummer. I'd upload these songs under a separate artist name Buttonhead, but another band now owns the name. |
