Artist description Nena French is a beautiful female singer who has a soulful and powerful voice. Her first CD, titled Nena French, is also known among her fans as the 'Cancer CD.' The 'Cancer CD' is dedicated to raising money for Creighton University's Hereditary Cancer Institute. Nena's reasoning for helping Creighton deeply rooted in the fact that she has been personally affected by cancer in her personal life. Her father, her sister, and her brother were all diagnosed with an aggressive for of colon cancer; only her brother has been fortunate enough to survive. Dr. Henry T. Lynch and his staff at Creighton University have identified the gene which causes Nena's family to be susceptible to cancer, and they have also clearly identified that Nena is free of the gene.
