Artist description
Greenbrier ghost is the current project of singer/songwriter Brian Bourgault, a native of Vermont, now living in Denver by way of St. Louis and Atlanta. In greenbrier ghost Brian's guitar and vocal joins together with a solid rhythm section; Chris Budin (Bass), and Jeff Grove (Drums). Paul Childs fills the songs out with his Mike Campbell meets 80's guitar rock style of playing.
Brian’s writing can unexpectedly sweep across genre but expect to be impressed by folk-inflicted acoustic ballads and country-inspired rockers! Themes of love (often lost), fear, and regret, as well as hope and redemption are woven together with ringing guitars for an often haunting result. With obvious musical influences including Neil Young, and Steve Earle, Brian's music has an instantly classic sound. Overdriven vintage tube amplifiers and raw, honest vocals fuel GBG’s live show.
