Artist History
DMA was founded in Venice, Italy, in 1995 by pianist Roberto Magris and saxophonist Marco Castelli, who actually are the band leaders and composers of all the music performed by the group. The rap lyrics are written by poet Max 'M-Bass-Ado' and the samplings and loops are programmed by Edu Hebling, who also takes care of the rhythmic arrangements together with drummer Paolo Prizzon. It's a Venice-based musical workshop open to new directions in jazz, hop-hop and groove... which is spreading fast around the world of jazz like a new generational musical virus.
They have released several compilation and the CD 'Up to the beat' (alma music / Taksim / Map).
