Artist description
I've been compared to Burl Ives, Santa Claus, Gomer Pyle and Ernie Kovacs at different points in time. Suffice it to say I'm a desperately thinning 52 year old writer/performer who loves sitting down and who does so as often as possible.

Artist History
I've been writing for over 30 years. I've played most of the better bait shops in the area as well as at funerals, wakes and weddings. So far I haven't been asked to perform at any divorces or murder trials.
I live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area and have been known as an iconoclastic rythym guitarist(always hearing the different drummer- sometimes a completely different song!) Hence my solo performing/recording status.
I've also been known to attempt to gargle peanut butter. |

Rick Reiley
Unplugged, Unwashed and Unrehearsed
(Pregnant Eagle)
Yes, Virginia, there are darn good singer-songwriters outside the orbit of the Tom Skinner Science Project, and here's one of them.
Reiley's plain-spoken and at times poetic in that cheeky folk music way ("Time's a one-way ticket / goin' down the track / I ain't got no Scotty / to come and beam you back").
The whole record's full of sprightly acoustic songs, and he only gets moody on the topical "No Christmas in Bethlehem."
