Artist History Equilibrium is.... the incarnation of musical emotion...an original work of heavy melodic music with dynamic emphasis.... where something beautiful meets something horrifying...conquering a musical beast by filling it with something whimsical and dimunitive. What seeps from its pores it what we became. Delicately twisted... We began almost 2 years ago with guitar, drums, and vocals. Adding to the mixture a few songs and a vision. Then, weeded through bass players until we decided we were ready to share what we created with others. A product was offered to the public in February 2001 after long rehearsals and an even longer search to be complete. We recorded a few demos, wrote a great deal of material, gigged everywhere we could, but the vision could not be preserved by all... Equilibrium has had Allan Sheard on bass since early this year, and Josh Cobb on drums. Josh is leaving due to a previous commitment to another band. So,we will be seeking his replacement this summer. We spent a month with Chris Arias, at Shebang Audio, recording our new release. Chris quickly became the 5th member of our band helping to create something next level. Thanks for having faith in us, Chris. New dates are posted on the site for area shows, but the band goes west by summer's end. The band was invited to ToolGathering in Las Vegas as well as many dates promoting the new music. Good things come to those who wait, so I'm ready for dessert! ~Andrea
