    Artist description
ETHANE 2,2-BIS(P-CHLOROPHENYL)-1,1,1-TRICHLOROETHANE 1,4-BIS(PHENYLAMINO)BENZENE BIS-(2-ETHYLHEXYL)PHTHALATE BISPHENOL A BISPHENOL A DIGLYCIDYL.......................................................Something old, something new and everything in between. Many will find our music to be deeply spiritual - because it is. It is not a statement of a faith, however (though I am a believer). But rather an exploration of something much more basic - Oneness, a belief that all men have a common experience and a common hope for peace. We believe that art, in all its forms, is the truest expression of the human spirit, one in which all can find a place of comfort. The music we feature here is part of an exploration of self, who we ARE, what we FEEL. The messages are never political or religious in nature, but they are a reflection of our highest hopes for a better world. Quite often they manifest themselves as stories that may be a single song or a whole series of songs. The BE sound is really more than just a crossing of genres and periods of time, but also one that is intended to portray emotion, sort of a canvas upon which we paint our self potrait

    Artist History
Although officially born in March 2001, the roots of black ether stretches back almost 40 years, when one 3 year old with a toy piano met another 3 year old with a toy drum in the hallway of a Brooklyn project where we both lived. We've been making music together ever since. We will be making music together so long as we can find the strength to breath.
    Group Members
Jester Black on keys, basses, and programming. Brian Goodwill, Jr. on beats and all kinds of interesting little toys. Then there's Shona, a spiritual banshee that lurks in the shadows of black ether, silently encouraging, constantly provoking. black ether would never have been possible without her. We can't say anything more about her, such are the terms of our working relationship, but we adore her.
