Artist History
Over the past few years, (singer/guitarist)Barrett Prokopie and (guitarist)Wayne Gibb have messed around with various names and musicians trying to find a steady, reliable, and talented line-up to create the music they've always wanted to make. Along the way, they met up with Robert(Bobby) Warner, who at that time was a guitar player. He soon was converted to playing bass and filled one of two empty positions in the band. In the fall of 2002, the guys got ahold of Chad Mahlberg who had played with them for a brief period of time in the spring of 2002, before Bobby came into the picture. At that point, the chemical reaction spawned an intense hard hitting sound, which we now know as "Top Secret Briefcase". Within less than a month after Chad joined, they played their first gig on Oct. 25, 2002. The response was incredible, and it gave them the push they needed to get their shit together and record. Enter Blayne Smith. A close friend of the band, he attended Recording Arts Canada in Ontario. He agreed to record and produce TSB. Outcome: "Dishonour" ...the bands first full album, which is due to be released sometime in early 2003, depending on the financial situation. As this is just the beginning, you can be sure to see more from the band in the near future. Also, touring is currently being talked about. Stay tuned! |
