Artist description So i'm one guy who loves to write songs, mostly on the acoustic guitar, but i'm comfortable with the bass and electric guitar. i'm attending college at u-mass amherst and i play around the area here, mostly coffeehouses.

Musical Influences the smashing pumpkins, tori amos, nine inch nails, radiohead, unbelievable truth

Artist History the first band i was in was the worldwide dryer company. that was seventh grade, and we stuck it out through high school and still play together sometimes. we put out two full lenth records, the second of which i'm still enormously proud of. i was the lead guitarist for that band which road the tale end of the nineties alternative sound. we worshipped hum and the smashing pumpkins. stephen swift, the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for the worldwide dryer company, was an invaluable influence on my songwriting. he taught me not to settle for anything trite and that lyrics are poetry. My next band was the beta constriction. this was my chance to front a band and take it where i wanted to. we played aggresive rock music, covering bands like the deftones and metallica to begin. out most notable accomplishment was a rock opera i wrote with the band. i still hope to record that opera someday. so, when that band broke up when i went off to college, for the first time i had to go it alone. i worked on my solo acoustic work, and now i hold down a steady gig as an entertainer at local reataurants. it's good money, but my passion is still in the songwriting. that about brings us up to speed.
