Artist History Cries of the Dying was founded in July of 2002 from members of the Virginia Beach metalcore band Misura. In the short time they've been together, Cries of the Dying has released a 3 song demo which has created a huge stir within the local scene. Cries of the Dying has created a mixture of the most extreme metal, with the energy and emotion of punk and the sheer brutality of today's metalcore bands. In October of 2002, they will be hitting the road for weekend tours ending in November, just in time for the band to embark on their first full United States tour. The U.S. tour will stretch from November 30 through December 24, covering both coasts as well as areas in between. Cries of the Dying tour dates will then go on to full U.S. tours every third month, with week-long east coast and mid-west tours in between.
