Artist History
Growing up listening to Oldies, Motown Music, 70's soul records, she is greatly inspired by such artist as Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Stylistics, Shalamar, Loose Ends, Lisa-Lisa & Cult Jam, Mantronix, Groove Theory, Carl Douglas & Maxwell.
In her early years as a vocalist, striving to achieve her goal as a song stylist, versed in many musical styles. She took a liking to Black exploytation movies from the 70's that were just getting popular in Holland. She actually learned English watching those movies.
After experimenting with modeling in Belgium, and Italy she went back to her musical roots. She recorded experimental funk jazz psychedelic songsthat was released on 3 albums with Emmisary Craft records under the alias Sugar Rainbow
After a chance meeting in Cannes at the MIDEM, she signed with CCA3 Productions in Los Angeles, and producer Conley Abrams recorded the songs here...
