Artist History
I had an ambition to write and record a full album by myself. After years of playing guitar in other bands, the need to do this increased. I had my own vision of the kinda band I wanted to be in, so I knew that was my next step.
Work started on recording in the summer of 2001, with a varied collection of songs that were written over the years.
As a lead guitar player by trade, I had to learn the other instruments and perform vocals for the first time. As well as learning how to record and mix the results. For the first time in my career I had a free reign to make the music I wanted.
Once finished, I wanted to pursue my own music and formed Hallion. Recruiting friends into the band; Dane, Jay and Al, on guitar, bass and drums respectively.
Since Al's departure from the band we have recruited Mark Vickers on the skins! We once played together in a band Sweet Venom" a few years ago. |
