Artist History James Goudeau, Born and raised in Oklahoma City started in music playing trumpet in junior high at age 11 until he graduated from high school at age 18. He then decided to pursue playing the keyboard which he has always had a passion for, but could not afford to own one. After joining the military for four years he finally purchased his first keyboard and met a couple of guitarists whom taught him a few chords. Never having had lessons before he would study other artists recordings and pick up various techniques and music structures. Around 1985 he learned all he could from his first keyboard and grew bored with and it would be a number of years before could purchase a more up to date keyboard with all the bells and whistles because he had to take the time to raise his family, but during that time he moved to St. Louis, MO where his wife's family lived. In the year 2000 he purchased another keyboard with all the bell and whistles and picked up from where he left off. And after year and a half he began writing, recording, and producing his own music; thus releasing his first CD.
