Artist History these singing sisters got their musical start in the church under the instruction of their mother and father the reverend & mrs. w. d. hinds at the ages of 2, 4, 6, and 8 years of age. while singing with the church choir were invited to neighboring church's to fellowship. during these fellowship visits the choir members did not show except for the daughters of reverend and sister hinds. one of the mc's for decided they were not going to announce the sisters as the church choir, but would introduce them as the hinds sisters. and that's how the group was named.
