Artist description SPIDERintheHALL is the solo title of vocalist and musician Craig Huston. All music and lyrics are written and composed by Craig on his home PC through the use of the MTV Music Generator program.

Artist History SPIDERintheHALL's murky history begins in mid-1998 while vocalist Craig was a freshman at Northwestern High School, located in the sleepy little town of Albion, Pennsylvania. His first attempt at putting a band together was thwarted due to a lack of interest and access to instruments. Despite this, Craig continued writing lyrics for two years after, and after graduating began working more steadily towards his goal at entering the music arena. With the purchase of the MTV Music Generator for the Playstation 1, Craig was finally able to begin making music to accompany his haunting lyrics. The band's name, which had originally been dubbed Fading Daylight, was changed to SPIDERintheHALL for semantic reasons. While the MTV Music Generator was a great help, Craig did not have the necessary equipment to record a suitable demo. Craig began work at a local restaurant, as a dishwasher. While not paid as much as he would have hoped, Craig continued on and began building up a decent savings. On a routine trip to a local department store, Craig could not believe his good luck when he discovered the MTV Music Generator had been released for the PC. Eagerly grabbing up the only copy available, Craig began transferring what he had written for the Playstation into his home computer. Now, a year after gaining the program, Craig as SPIDERintheHALL has produced numerous demos and mixes. He is currently completing his official album to be released on his own fledgling record label, Broken Monkey Music, and distributed right here at mp3.com.
