The call came on October 22, 1997 as Melissa sat in her sisters hospital room awaiting the birth of her niece. The diagnosis, Cancer. Had the Doctor really said that? That call was followed by what most people would consider a true valley experience. But, as Melissa learned, the valley holds the lushest meadows and the stillest waters. Melissa experienced firsthand the deep truths that she already held in her heart. God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. God is Jehovah Rapha, our Healer. God is Jehovah Shalom, our Peace. And God is our Shepherd, leading us through the valley.
