Artist History Ian grew up in Lockport, IL where he first got his start playing as a drummer/guitarist in a band during his High School years. After that, he took some time away from the music scene, to pursue a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, however he never put down his guitar. He now resides in Gilberts, IL where he does his own recordings in his home studio. Ian enjoys writing songs with emotion or to simply tell a story. He also enjoys the sounds of the Caribbean as the sounds of a steel drum move him the most. Currently, Ian plays with "Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band" as a Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter/Percussionist around the Chicagoland Area.
