Artist History
Formed in Vancouver in the spring of 2001 from the
ashes of the long-standing TRI-LAMS (1997-2001).
COMPANY DIME has set course towards a new sound
that hasn't been done by the band in the past. Focusing
now more on emotionally charged anthemic driven
songs about unrest both socially and personally,
the band has decided to wear its collective heart
on their sleeve.
A full year after recording their first solo E.P (NOTHING
RIGHT, NOTHING LEFT)on their very own tri-city
records, with Russ Rankin of Good Riddance, the
band has had time to reflect on its sound and
direction. Through this re-direction, they have had
the opportunity to play with such bands as
BOMBSHELL ROCKS, BY A THREAD, TSUNAMI BOMB, and
even SUM 41. They have as well shared the stage
with local acts ALL STATE CHAMPION,
SPEAKING OF HEROES, and ROYAL GRAND PRIX.
With the summer of 2002 at an end, the band has
recorded a 6 song E.P under their new moniker, and
has begun to blaze its own trail. The E.P should
be available in late 2002. A three-song promo is
available now for promoters only.
