This slowed-down and more intricate approach that the band takes towards 'guitar playing in garage pop' is something I wish more bands were taking note of. While "Inbetween" is one of the best indie-rock-garage-ballads I've ever heard (right up there with Stephen Malkmus' "Church on White"), the rest of the record stands up well on its own merit.
