Artist History
Breakdown B acquired his first pair of turntables in 1993. He worked his
way up playing small house parties to spinning in front of hundreds at
Chicago-land Clubs. After taking 1st in a local DJ competition Breakdown B
earned a spot playing on the “In The Mix” show which aired Sunday nights
on 92.7. Soon Breakdown B was offered the job at Superdance Records
learning the retail world of dance music. He moved on to produce several
live mix CD’s, which helped him gain residencies at clubs and paved the
way for playing major Electronic Music Parties across the Mid-west.
Breakdown B’s live sets are innovative, original and, entertaining at the
same time. By 1999 Breakdown B put his talent on vinyl, releasing one EP
and three re-mixes (Turn it Up 2000 - Fuck on Cocaine - Pro Tools EP) on
Flash Traxx / SHR recordings. Currently, Breakdown B can be found
playing clubs and parties in Chicago and out of town. This DJ is on the road
to the top, not just locally but globally!
